Sydney Owens is a 3rd year undergraduate Multimedia Journalism student at Loyola University Chicago. After graduation, her goal is to work as a reporter or designer for either a newspaper or magazine. Eventually, she would like to go back to school for her Master’s in video documentary or something similar.

Originally from South Carolina, Sydney moved to Chicago in 2016 with her husband Chris and their three cats. In addition to being a full-time student, Sydney works at Red Lobster as a bartender, tutors her peers in writing, and washes dogs on the weekends at Rogers Bark Pet Salon.
